1. Cancellation Policy
1. Cancellation Policy
Elongate Pilates has a maximum capacity of 2 participants per reformer class. To ensure fairness and availability, the following cancellation policies apply:
a. Class Cancellations by Clients – Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled class to receive a full refund or class credit. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the class start time will result in a full charge, with no refund or credit.
b. Cancellations by Elongate Pilates – If a class is cancelled by Elongate Pilates, your account will be fully credited for the amount paid.
2. Payment & Refund Policy
a. Class Payments – All classes must be paid for in advance via our booking system. Bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of payment.
b. No Refunds for No-Shows – If you fail to attend a booked class without prior cancellation, no refund or credit will be issued.
c. Packages & Memberships – Any pre-paid class packs or memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise stated. Expiry dates on packages apply and cannot be extended.
3. Liability Waiver
3.1 Health and Medical Information
It is your responsibility to inform Elongate Pilates of any medical conditions, injuries, or health concerns that may impact your ability to participate in exercise.

Upon enrolling in your first class, you will directed to complete a health screen form. This form must be completed and submitted before your first session.

If required, medical clearance from your GP may be necessary before attending classes. A letter or email is required for GP and Allied health clearance – verbal clearance is not satisfactory.

If you do not receive the health screen form, please contact Elongate Pilates to request it.
3.2 Instructor Qualifications and Scope of Practice
All Elongate Pilates instructors hold the necessary qualifications to teach Pilates and maintain up-to-date First Aid and CPR certifications. While instructors can provide basic first aid, they are not medical professionals and cannot diagnose or treat injuries or medical conditions.
Participating in exercise with a medical condition is entirely at your own risk. If you are uncertain about your ability to participate safely, please seek advice from your healthcare provider before attending.
3.3 Acknowledgement of Risks
While Elongate Pilates is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment, you acknowledge that:

Pilates, like any physical activity, carries inherent risks, including the possibility of injury.

You participate voluntarily and assume full responsibility for your own health and well-being.

Elongate Pilates is not liable for any injury, illness, or medical condition that may arise as a result of participating in classes.
3.4 Consent for Physical Adjustments
Our instructors may offer tactile and physical adjustments to help you with proper technique and alignment. If you prefer not to receive hands-on corrections, please inform your instructor at any time.
4. Studio Code of Conduct
To ensure a respectful and enjoyable experience for all, please adhere to the following:

Grip socks are compulsory for safety and hygiene.

Arrive on time to avoid disruption. If you are more than 5 minutes late, entry may not be permitted.

Please wipe down equipment after use.

Respect fellow participants and instructors. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
5. Personal Belongings

Elongate Pilates is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.

Only bring essential items for class participation. Each participant will have a ‘belongings box’ available to them for personal items.
Any items left behind will be kept in lost property for up to eight weeks. After this period, unclaimed items will be disposed of.
